Every year IBM earns more patents than any other company. While the innovations and achievement are spectacular, the patent documents themselves are aesthetically underwhelming. To honor IBM’s 20-year winning streak we showcased the record in a manner worthy of the achievement—translating intellectual property into works of art. Brief: To promote a small beauty agency in a way that keeps the agency top of mind with clients all year round.
Solution: Create a new years holiday mailing that's more than just a greeting card, but a handy desktop calendar. one that utilizes the shape of iconic beauty and fashion objects to illustrate the names of each month, and inspires clients to display and use it.

A hand lettering font based on Helvetica. But instead of going from light to bold in weights, it varies in its loyalty to the original that was designed in 1954. I designed this in 2005. Here are several posters I designed to promote each individual style.
